Something to look forward to

Right now everyone is posting white photos of snow covered landscape. I have decided to be different & post photos of green. "Spring" has arrived which means fresh vegetation and birds coming back from migration. Too bad Northeast Ohio just got hit with another batch of snow. I came across some photos from a metro park walk that I did a few years ago and didn't have the chance to post.

It was an early morning because of how the sun was coming through the trees. Spring mornings come with the chirping of baby birds calling to their moms & the air is fresh and crisp especially when the dew is still present on the grass.

The Great Egret is one of the many species of birds that habitat in the marshlands of Northeast Ohio. The first clutches (grouping of 3-4 eggs) are laid during the second half of April with most laid by mid-May. The first young hatch during the second half of May and early June. Find out more about more by visiting Wildlife.ohionr.gov

Hoping to see the green of new leaves on the trees and grass soon.

Go outside and explore your local metro parks!
