Missy & Elliot: Sunflowers & Raindrops
I have recently finished the wedding photographs of Missy & Elliot. This fall themed wedding had the main colors of royal blue & Sunflower with accents of red & orange leaves.
A traditional christian ceremony was held at Shepherd of the Ridge Lutheran Church in North Ridgeville. Small bridal party included Elliot’s two sisters, brother, his best friend, niece & nephew. Missy was escorted down the isle by her brother.
Fathers of both the bride & groom past away. The couple decided to honor them by placing pictures on bride‘s flower ribbon & groom’s suit jacket.
Groups shots were taken in the church & at a pavilion located on the grounds. There was a delay dew to a rain storm right after the ceremony.
The rain started again once we left the church & headed to the reception at The Fountain Blu in Avon Lake. I received a phone call that there was no power, but I used the lack of lighting to my advantage which created some beautiful shots.
Sunflowers & fall leaves decorated the reception hall. Along with a memorial table that displayed family photos of their fathers & other relatives who are no longer with us.
Dinner was served once the power was restored. Speeches from the newlyweds, best man & maid of honor were given. Bride & groom danced with with their mothers after their first dance. The rest of the evening included cutting of cake, traditional garter & bouquet toss, use of photo booth & dance.
Best wishes to Missy & Elliot.
Lots of love & a long happy life together.
